Welcome!
Advent Random Clip Player is a browser source that pulls and plays random clips from your Twitch library! It's intended to help liven up stream downtime by providing content at specified intervals. It's 100% free to use as well! Just provide your Twitch name to the form below and adjust any settings you want then click the generate button! You will be given a link to add to your OBS as a browser source!
Originally I felt that my intermission screen was a bit empty. "Short Break" and music playing for 6-10 minutes depending on what I had to do was okay at the start, but I started to feel like maybe I could do more with this scene... I had the idea of playing clips during this downtime and knew the TwitchAPI lets you pull clip information. So a little bit of searching and brainstorming and I managed to create a small utility that retrieves a list of clips and plays them with a fancy transition!
Thus we end up with the Advent Random Clip Player! I plan to update and add more flexibility to this tool as time passes, but for the time being it serves my individual needs so I'll call I'll call it a success! I really hope this tool can also help others add a little more excitement to their set ups!
